Nedavno, Indonesia Ceramic Association (Asaki) asked the government to immediately release a policy to strengthen and protect the country’s ceramic industry, especially with regard to imported ceramics.

Benefiting from policy measures targeting the ceramic industry, namely the gas price stimulus of US$6 per MMBTU implemented on April 13, 2020, the measure can provide significant value to improve the competitiveness of the ceramic industry. According to Indonesia’s Central Statistical Agency (BPS), ceramic exports increased 24% year-on-year from US$36.2 million to US$44.9 million in January-August 2020.
