EBSU Ltd. acquires furniture factory

North American kitchen and bath cabinet maker EBSU Ltd. has acquired Woodlore, an office furniture manufacturer. EBSU began expanding a new 180,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in March. The company said the Woodlore acquisition will help accelerate its growth by expanding into new markets, increasing capacity and optimizing its expertise.

EBSU said Woodlore’s high level of automation was critical to its decision to acquire the company. “Automation is at the heart of the strategy to become a market leader.” “Automation in manufacturing is key to staying competitive. It allows us to consistently control the quality and reliability of our products, optimize production and delivery times, and make better use of internal resources,” said Napoleon Boucher, president of EBSU.

Invests $100 million in expansion

On Sept. 16, Korean toiletries manufacturer Daelim B&Co disclosed the signing of a 30 億韓元 (人民幣 100 百萬) plant expansion agreement.

Daelim B&Co established a sanitary ware factory in Jecheon City in 1992. The company will invest 30 billion won for factory expansion and automation by 2026.
