EBSU Ltd. acquires furniture factory

North American kitchen and bath cabinet maker EBSU Ltd. has acquired Woodlore, an office furniture manufacturer. EBSU began expanding a new 180,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in March. The company said the Woodlore acquisition will help accelerate its growth by expanding into new markets, increasing capacity and optimizing its expertise.

EBSU said Woodlore’s high level of automation was critical to its decision to acquire the company. “Automation is at the heart of the strategy to become a market leader.” “Automation in manufacturing is key to staying competitive.
