Former General Motors senior vice president Kevin Button has acquired the bathroom mirror decorating company MirrorMate, which was founded in 2004 to provide online bathroom mirror framing solutions.
North American kitchen and bathroom cabinet maker EBSU Ltd. has acquired Woodlore, an office furniture manufacturer. EBSU, which began expanding a new 180,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in March, said the acquisition of Woodlore will help accelerate its growth by expanding into new markets, increasing capacity and optimizing its expertise.
EBSU said Woodlore’s high level of automation was critical to its decision to acquire the company. “Automation is at the heart of the strategy to become a market leader.” “Automation in manufacturing is key to staying competitive. It allows us to consistently control the quality and reliability of our products, optimize production and delivery times and make better use of internal resources,” said Napoleon Boucher, President of EBSU.
Korean Bathroom Manufacturer DEALIM Invests $100 Million In Expansion
On 16 September, Korean bathroom products manufacturer DEALIM B&Co revealed the signing of a 30 billion won (RMB 100 million) agreement for the expansion of its factory.
Daelim B&Co, which established its sanitary ware factory in 1992 in the city of Jecheon, will invest KRW 30 billion in factory expansion and automation by 2026.
